3 Reflection (Movie)
After
this unit, I know film and movie are relate to pop culture. I believe this is
the unit that I feel most interesting, and I learn so many knowledges of film
and movie. Movie was something that we be in touch with when we was young, but
we usually do not know deeply about the background information of movie. For
example, I never know that movie has that much types, and I only know few of
them. There are 8 main categories of film which are action, drama, adventure,
historical, comedy, horror, crime, and musical. Also, this really surprise me.
During this unit, we do some mini presentation. Then, I can feel I learn some
new information after doing my presentation and listen to other’s presentation.
Moreover, I had an aha moment when I was learning this unit. I have to read an
article about a man called Tyler Perry. I had no idea with this person and
reading before I read this reading assignment. I was confuse about this man. I
started to think why was he relate to movie, and is he an important person of
the film industry. I got the answer after reading and understand this article,
and I felt aha. Tyler Perry was a man who became a big time movie star and a
phenomenon. He earn so much money by being a filmmaker and actor. He was a
business man and he loved to use African American actors. He has become famous
because he had different ideas with other and he had his own stage. He gave the
African American actors a stage, and he was the legend in the film industry.
After learning this unit, my brain like a rainbow. It means my brain is
colorful. Before I learn this unit, I just know a little bit for film industry,
and there is no color just black and white. After I understand, I discover that
film industry can be colorful as a rainbow. I learn three different units in
this class. However, this is the one I like most and the one I feel most
interesting and powerful.
